UPDATE: Work finished on Fourth Street and South Donnybrook

UPDATE: City of Tyler spokeswoman Susan Guthrie reports that maintenance work is complete and traffic has fully reopened at the Fourth Street/ S. Donnybrook Avenue intersection.

TYLER (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - According to the Tyler Police Department there is a traffic hazard at the intersection of Fourth Street and South Donnybrook.

The Signal Department will be working on the traffic lights due to a motor vehicle accident for most of the day.
West bound traffic on Fourth street is down to one lane at Donnybrook. North and south traffic on South Donnybrook will be shut down completely from Third Street on the north to Fifth Street to the south.

The traffic signals are inoperable and the intersection is currently controlled by officers directing traffic and temporary barricades.

Citizens are encouraged to take an alternate route to avoid the intersection and to utilize caution when approaching the intersection.
