UPDATE August 16, 2012: Tyler Police Department:

TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler Investigators have arrested David Ford, B/M, 12/14/1990 for the Aggravated Robbery that occurred on August 10, 2012.  On Wednesday, August 15, 2012, Ford was located by police when they received a tip on his location.

Both suspects involved in the Aggravated Robbery are now in custody and booked into Smith County Jail.

TYLER (KYTX) -- Police say they know who robbed a young woman at gun point Friday. They've arrested one man and they're looking for another one.

The victim in that robbery, Karla Cortes, described the experience to CBS 19, hoping someone would take notice of the story and turn her attacker in.

"He was just pointing it in my face, like 'Where's the money at?'" Cortes said.

Tyler police say the man pointing the gun was 20-year-old David Ford, and they need help finding him.

Karla had her son Nathan in her arms Friday morning as she walked back inside their house.

"I was just thinking about him and hoping they wouldn't do anything to him," she said. "You know, they can do something to me and not to him."

After Karla went inside, the two men sped off and it could have been pretty difficult to track them down. But police say they figured it out thanks to one woman who was in the right place at the right time.

"An alert citizen did a fantastic job," Tyler Police Officer Don Martin said. "She basically spotted two suspects, who were actually the suspects, sitting in a vehicle acting very suspicious."

That woman wrote down the license plate and when she heard about the robbery on the news, she called police.

"She said basically said 'Hey, I believe this may be connected to your robbery and sure enough it was," Martin said. "And that was the break we needed to solve the case."

Martin said they found the car, some of the stolen stuff and 20-year-old Tevin Dorsey at the Economy Inn in North Tyler. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

Now Karla is hoping a second good Samaritan will know where to find Ford, saying he deserves to be in jail.

"It was horrible," she said. "I just thank God for taking care of us first of all, you know?"

Dorsey has a truancy charge on his record. Ford has a history with drugs and an assault charge from earlier this year.

CBS 19 has also confirmed that Ford is CeCe Foster's son. Foster is the Tyler salon owner who pleaded guilty to giving illegal breast and buttock injections a few weeks ago.

If you have information about David Ford's whereabouts, please contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers, at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case, or any, felony case.
