LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A 20-year-old Longview man accepted a plea deal Friday after admitting his involvement in a Dec. 4 shooting.

Terry Wayne Dixon faced up to 20 years in prison on a grand jury indictment for second degree felony aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Instead, he pled guilty to deadly conduct-discharging a firearm, a third degree felony.

Dixon was defended by Longview attorney Richard Hurlburt. Assistant District Attorney Chris Botto prosecuted the case.
