WOOD COUNTY (KYTX) - Wood County sheriff's investigators are probing a burglary reported Sunday at a home on CR 1452 in which several guitars and music equipment were taken.
Deputies was dispatched to CR 1452 in reference to a burglary on Sunday. Deputy Adams met with the victim's daughter, Jerene Birdwell, who advised that unknown actor(s) broke into her father's residence and stole numerous items.
Officers do have a person of interest, however, this information will be withheld until further evidence is obtained. The items taken are as follows:
A 1952 Fender electric guitar that is blonde in color
A 1957 Gibson ES-347 electric guitar that is red and black in color
A 1795 hand-crafted fiddle,
An unknown brand guitar amp, and
A 7.62 mauser bolt action rifle.
