CHEROKEE COUNTY (KYTX) - An early morning blaze today near Gallatin in eastern Cherokee County damaged an abandoned house and a vehicle, according to the Cherokee County sheriff's office.

No injuries were reported. Gallatin Volunteer Fire Department, Rusk Fire Department and the sheriff's office responded the incident that occurred at about 2 a.m. Monday.

An arson investigator responded to the scene but found no evidence of arson at this time, according to the sheriff's office.
