TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler firefighters are reporting minimal damage and no injuries from a fire this afternoon in the 2500 block of Grand Avenue across the street from Texas College.

Tenants of the residence returned home today and noticed smoke coming from the attic before calling authorities at about 5:30 p.m. Firefighters told KYTX CBS 19 reporter Melissa Daigle that the cause was likely an electrical issue.

The home's three tenants were not injured and are not students of Texas College. Firefighters are still on the scene.
