(KCEN) -- Two days after a gunman opened fire in College Station, a police officer who was shot and injured is being released from the hospital.

College Station Police Officer Justin Oehlke was released from the College Station Medical Center. Oehlke was shot in the calf and had to have surgery.

There are no new updates from the police about their investigation into the shooting.

Another victim who was injured, Barbara Holdsworth, remains in the hospital but there is no word on her condition.
