The Houston Texans beat the Carolina Panthers in Game 1 of the preseason. They'll take on the San Francisco 49ers in Game 2 at Reliant Stadium.

Andre Johnson did not see action in Charlotte. He suffered a minor groin injury during the second day of training camp and was kept out of the game to protect what had been that sore groin. The pro bowler does hope to rip a route or two against the 49ers.
