Shooting injures guard at Family Research Council

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS) - Police are questioning a man who opened fire at the headquarters of a Christian lobbying group in Washington, D.C.

Authorities say 28-year-old Floyd Corkins II, entered the lobby of the Family Research Council. He made a negative comment about the group's work and then pulled out a gun. He was able to shoot a security guard in the arm before he was wrestled to the ground.

The guard is in stable condition and is talking with police about the incident.
