Harsh language inside Campaign 2012

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - With the Presidential election just 3 months away, the fight for the White House is getting serious. The language on the campaign trail is getting harsher by the day.

Mitt Romney accused President Obama of doing, or saying, anything in order to win re-election. He made those comments specifically in rebuttal to Vice President Biden's "chains" comment.  Wednesday, The President defended his Vice President saying, "Folks like to get obsessed with how something was phrased even if everybody understands that's not how it was meant."

President Obama says Romney and Paul Ryan are being "dishonest" in their criticisms of the President's medicare policies.
