RUSK COUNTY (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - Two men were arrested earlier this week in Rusk County for drug possession.

About 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, Rusk County Sheriff's Office K9 Deputy, Jason Smith and certified narcotic dog, Caro, discovered Phencyclindine (PCP) during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 59 North, in Rusk County, according to a news release.
Deputy Smith arrested Crayton Lytrone Davis, 33, of Houston, and Marcus Marquis Armstard, 33, of Monroe, La., after finding a plastic bottle containing about 12 oz. of suspected PCP in the console of the vehicle, the release states. The street value of the PCP was estimated at approximately $10,000. Both suspects were transported to the Rusk County Justice Center.

According to a news release, Armstard also had an active warrant out of Nacogdoches County for possession of marijuana.

Rusk County Precinct 5 Justice of the Peace Judge Joe Sorrells charged both suspects with possession of controlled substance, a first- degree felony, and both bonds were set at $50,000.

Both suspects remain in the Rusk County Justice Center.
