TYLER (KYTX) - A two-alarm house fire in Tyler sends one person to the hospital.

Tyler firefighters responded to the blaze around 9 this morning in the 3400 block of Timberlane Drive.

Fire Marshal Paul Findley tells us it started in the garage utility area likely around the family's dryer.

The house sustained heat and smoke damage, but everyone escaped without serious injury.

A family member was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
