NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) -- Police tell CBS 19 they were on the scene of a shooting at a home in southeast Nacogdoches for several hours Sunday morning.

Neighbors called police around 3:15 a.m. after hearing shots fired inside a home in the 1700 block of Boney Street. Officers said it appeared that 36-year-old Jacoby White fired through a wall at an un-named victim for unknown reasons.

Patrol officers set up a perimeter and began negotiations with White, who had barricaded himself inside, before calling the city's SWAT team. Ultimately, police got a warrant to enter the home and arrested White without incident around 6:30 a.m.

The un-named victim was hit once in the leg and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

White was booked into the Nacogdoches County jail, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond had not been set as of late Sunday morning.
