GM, Isuzu recall thousands of vehicles - KYTX CBS 19 Tyler Longview News Weather Sports

(CNN) - General Motors has issued a recall notice to owners of various GM and Isuzu vehicles -- because of a potential fire hazard.

In a news release, G-M says the recall involves about 250-thousand mid-size S-U-Vs sold in 20 states and Washington, D-C. The problem is related to fluid that can get inside the driver's door module and lead to a short in the circuit board. G-M says that could cause the power locks and windows to fail, and in very rare cases, it could cause a fire.

No known crashes or injuries are related to the issue.
