West Virginia ranked #1 school for partygoers

Posted: Updated:

MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA (CNN) - "The Princeton Review's" list of 377 college campuses for partygoers is out.

West Virginia University tops the list at number one -- this is for the first time in five years. In a news release, WVU says the ranking "has no real credibility."

University of Iowa came in at number 2 followed by Ohio University. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The University of Georgia round out the top 5. The University of Texas in Austin came in at number 15.

"The Princeton Review" rated party schools on student surveys. The ranking considers the amount of time students spend studying outside of class, how often they use drugs or alcohol on campus, and how popular fraternities and sororities are.
