The Aggies are set to hit the road for Shreveport in less than a week for Game 1 of the regular season. They'll face off against Louisiana Tech Thursday night.
Johnny Manziel will start at quarterback, making Texas A&M history as he's the first freshman QB to start a season opener. He has big shoes to fill, stepping in for first-round draft pick Ryan Tannehill who threw for over 3,700 yards and 29 touchdowns in his only full season as starting signal caller.
