Jacksonville faced off against Bullard in a preseason scrimmage at Panthers Stadium Thursday night.
The Indians enter the season with a new head coach, Chris Taber. They'll also have a new quarterback after Ryan Black transferred to Chapel Hill. Senior Trevor Ewalt and sophomore Carter McCown are battling for the starting job. Coach Taber says they should get equal reps until district play begins.
