TYLER (KYTX) - Today, a section of Lake Placid between Vine Street and San Jacinto Drive will be closed to thru traffic by the City of Tyler Streets Department for repairs.

East bound traffic from Old Noonday will be routed southward down Vine Street. West bound traffic from Old Jacksonville Hwy will be routed northward down San Jacinto. The work on Lake Placid should be finished in two weeks depending on weather conditions.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes for the duration of construction.
