Posted: Updated:

NEW LONDON/RUSK COUNTY (KYTX) - The New London Police Department is asking for information leading to the identity of two unknown suspects that robbed "Bootsie's Convenient Store," located on Humble Road in New London.

On Saturday, at about 9:20pm, two white males entered the store and took an undetermined amount of cash from the register. The store clerk was assaulted during the robbery and was later transported to a local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

The store clerk described the suspects as two white males, one around 6'0" tall, weighing about 250 lbs and the second around 5'7" tall with a thin build. The clerk advised New London Officer Michael Smith that the suspects had their T-shirts pulled up above their noses and both wearing baseball caps.

Anyone with information in this robbery should contact the New London Police Department or Rusk County Crime Stoppers.

Rusk County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the robbery suspects.
