EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - The second annual Highway 80 Progressive Car Cruise is scheduled for late September from Gladewater to Wills Point.
The cruise showcases classic cars from across northeast Texas. Festivities begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in downtown Gladewater with a breakfast to include touchdown tacos with an extra kick, pigskin piggies, and both strong side (regular) and weak side (decaf) coffee.
Organizers are playing on the theme, "Let's Go Tailgating Across East Texas." After breakfast in Gladewater, there will a "College Game Day" lunch in Mineola at 10:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m.; "College Highlights" dessert in Grand Saline at 2 p.m. until 4:3 p.m.; and "NFL Pre Game" dinner at Wills Point.
