Suspects in recent car burglaries caught; property recovered

Kilgore Police Department:

Kilgore (KYTX) -- After a recent rash of car burglaries earlier this month in the southern part of Kilgore, three Kilgore juveniles have been identified as the actors. The information was discovered after two of the juveniles were detained in Longview, Texas by a Longview Police Officer. The juveniles were found in possession of a backpack full of numerous GPS devices and other electronics.

The Longview Police Officer was able identify the property as stolen and belonging to Kilgore residents. This information led Kilgore Police Detective's to the identity of a third involved juvenile. The case is still under investigation by Kilgore Police Detective Kay Lynn Newbill. Detective Newbill is also in the process of returning the stolen items to the owners. Criminal charges are forthcoming.
