LONGVIEW (KYTX) -  Gregg County 124th District Judge sentenced a Michigan man to 11 months in state jail Monday for felony marijuana possession.

Jesse Clark Lenoir was one of two men arrested April 23 at the Amtrak passenger rail station on Pacific Avenue for drug trafficking. County Drug Enforcement officers working interdiction said Lenoir and 22-year-old Kevin Antonio Armstrong, both of Flint, Mich., had cocaine and marijuana in their luggage as they were traveling from Houston to Chicago.

Armstrong remains jailed on $150,000 bond for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. A status hearing on his case is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday.
