SOUTH KOREA (CNN) - Unification church founder, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon died Sunday in South Korea.

The Universal Peace Federation says the 92-year-old suffered from pneumonia-related complications. He'd been hospitalized since last week. Moon was known for his anti-communist stance.

The Unification Church gained fame decades ago because of its mass weddings involving thousands of people at a time.
