LONGVIEW/GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - Morris County authorities have been on the lookout for Gwendolyn Monique Kennedy since May, after she jumped bail in her aggravated robbery case.

Longview police apprehended Kennedy on Saturday. She is wanted in Morris County on an aggravated robbery charge from this past March, when Lone Star police said she and a 31-year-old man attacked a 39-year-old disabled man and left him in a street bleeding from his mouth with several teeth knocked out.

The victim, who was treated at a Mount Pleasant hospital, said Kennedy and the other suspect, identified as Brian Hill, took his wallet and watch. Authorities found the suspect vehicle at a Lone Star bank, after Kennedy had tried to use three of the victim's credit cards, according to Morris County court records.

Kennedy posted bond from the Morris County Jail, but she failed to appear in court later this summer, prompting authorities to issue a warrant for her arrest. She was a featured wanted suspect of Morris County Crime Stoppers in May.

Kennedy remains in the Gregg County Jail today on $20,000 bond. It is her fifth arrest in Gregg County since November 2008, when she was jailed for second degree felony burglary charges. In April 2009, she entered a plea agreement to the misdemeanor charge of criminal trespass and was sentenced to 60 days in county jail, according to online Gregg County records.
