LONGVIEW (KYTX) - More than a half dozen recreation classes kick off over the next six weeks in Longview's Parks and Recreation Department.
Dancing makes the first kick Wednesday, when weekly classes in line dancing to soft rock and country music begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, and weekly Texas two-step and country swing dancing classes begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Both classes last four weeks.
On Monday, four weeks of dance fitness classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Also Mondays, dog obedience classes will be held at 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. each week for six weeks, and keelboat sailing courses are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Mondays for five weeks.
On Sept. 13, belly dancing classes will be held over eight weeks at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.
Photography classes are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesdays over five weeks beginning Oct. 16.
