TYLER (KYTX) - Fitzpatrick Architects for a project that will benefit Habitat for Humanity. Students, teachers, Fitzpatrick Architects, and Habitat for Humanity advocates will gather for the Playhouse project kick-off tomorrow at the Fitzpatrick Architects office.

Fitzpatrick Architects will mentor groups of Career and Technical Education (CTE) students, who will design and build up to four playhouses that will be auctioned at FRESH by Brookshires in the fall. All proceeds from the auction will go to Habitat for Humanity of Smith County.

The Playhouse project is designed to resemble curriculum taught in a freshman college level architecture studio. The project not only benefits students by exposing them to the architecture profession prior to graduating from high school, but also benefits a local organization that plays a vital role in our community.

Community members and parents can view the designs created by students and follow the progress of the project by clicking the "Like" button on the Playhouse Facebook page located at the following link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/PLAYhouse/342365595847071?ref=hl.
