DOUGLASS/NACOGDOCHES COUNTY (KYTX) - Three men face first-degree aggravated assault/family violence charges following an incident Monday near Douglass.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. Monday, Nacogdoches County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of CR 784 in reference to an assault victim. A man said he was beaten by two other men following an argument at a location on FM 225.
At about the same time, three other deputy units were dispatched to a residence in the 3000 block of FM 225 North in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a felony assault took place at the location and arrested the suspects.
During the investigation, a stolen firearm was discovered as well as drugs.
The three men arrested were:
Guillermo Loren Castillo, 28, of Douglass, for theft of a firearm and aggravated assault/family violence;
Christopher Lynn Castillo, 25, of Nacogdoches, for possession of marijuana and aggravated assault/family violence; and,
Christopher Scott Castillo, 22, of Nacogdoches, for aggravated assault/family violence.
It is not known if or how the three men are related. They were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail late Monday and early this morning.
No information on the victim's condition was available.
