MONTREAL (CNN) - One person is dead and another is critically injured after a shooting during the victory speech by Quebec's newly-elected premier.

People rushed to get Pauline Marois off the stage. She wasn't hurt. Police in Montreal arrested a man who appeared to be wearing a bathrobe or housecoat. Right now, we don't know what may have sparked the shooting.

Marois, once she takes office, will be the first female premier of Quebec.
