California wildfire burns nearly 4,000 acres

Posted: Updated:

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST, CA (CNN) - Firefighters have been working to get control of the Williams Fire -- that's the one burning in California's National Forest.

The wildfire has burned at least 38-hundred acres since it broke out Sunday. It is 25-percent contained. Visitors to the park were evacuated, but some residents decided to stay in their homes.

Firefighters say they may not get control of the blaze until next Thursday. We still don't know exactly how the fire started.
