LONGVIEW/GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - Two men caught breaking into an east Longview home on Tuesday were taken to familiar surroundings: the Gregg County Jail.

Longview police arrested 21-year-old Rondarius Derand Darden and 18-year-old Devon Anthony Benton, both of Longview, in the 500 block of Texas Street at about 3 p.m. Tuesday on burglary of a habitation charges. Both men are being held in jail without bond.

Darden was at the Gregg County Jail on Friday when he was arrested for bond forfeiture and later released on $2,000 bond. He was also arrested July 15 for public intoxication and has been in the Longview jail five times since March.

Benton was already out of jail on $1,000 bond following an Aug. 13 arrest for criminal trespass. He was also in jail July 11 for minor consuming alcohol charge but released on a $500 payment plan.
