TYLER/SMITH COUNTY (KYTX) - Tyler police are investigating a Friday morning aggravated assault that sent one woman to a local hospital.

According to online media reports, officers responded to the 1500 block of Southridge Drive shortly before 5 a.m.. A 24-year-old woman said she was stabbed. She suffered an "apparent minor injury" and was transported to the Trinity Mother Frances emergency room.

No arrests or other information has been reported.
