Netanyahu, President Obama talk Iran

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is criticizing the U.S. for failing to do more to stop Iran's possible development of a nuclear weapon.

President Obama called Netanyahu and the two men talked for an hour to iron out their differences. Following the call, the White House issued a statement saying the two countries are united in their determination to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

The U.S. also denied published reports claiming President Obama rejected a meeting with Netanyahu next week. The White House says no request was ever made.
