(CNN) - Kathy Bates is opening up about another health battle. The Academy-Award winning actress says she was diagnosed with breast cancer two months ago and decided to undergo a double mastectomy. In March, Bates revealed she survived ovarian cancer nine years ago. This time around, she says she will not need to undergo any radiation or chemo. Doctors have given her a very good prognosis.

(CNN) - Dustin Hoffman is joining a prestigious group of entertainers and artists. He is one of this year's Kennedy Center honorees. The legendary actor will be recognized at the annual celebration of the arts in December. Other honorees include late-night host David Letterman and the band, Led Zeppelin.
