TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler Police are looking for a man they say could be armed, after he robbed a South Tyler pharmacy.
This is iPhone video when Tyler Police arrived to the Walgreens on South Broadway around 7 tonight.
You can see officers with rifles checking the area.
Police say a white man can be seen walking into the store on surveillance video before robbing a pharmacist with a handgun and demanded prescription pills.
"Only people in the pharmacy were aware of what was going on. So all the other employees, all the other customers were not aware of what was going on," says Tyler Police Sgt. Paul Robeson.
Sgt. Robeson says the man was seen leaving in a vehicle that may have also been seen at another store in the county where there was another robbery.
Smith County deputies have not confirmed that information, they say it's an ongoing investigation.
Police describe him as a white man in his mid-twenties, wearing a white and green ball cap, a gray sweatshirt and shorts.
The vehicle is described as a black, 4-door sedan, possibly with no license plates.
