UPDATE: Theft suspect wanted in Harrison County found in casino

UPDATE: (KYTX) - The felony theft suspect, Lynn Dorsey Smith, has been arrested because of a caller tip and security at the casinos.

The suspect is now in the Bossier Parish jail.

 


 

HARRISON COUNTY (KYTX) - Harrison County investigators are asking the public's assistance in locating a felony theft suspect, Lynn Dorsey Smith, who may be frequenting the casinos in Shreveport.

The suspect allegedly has a gaming addiction and has pawned several items taken in a theft offense that occurred in Harrison County during July. Investigators believe the suspect to be in the Shreveport area due to the items being pawned in the Louisiana pawn shops in both Bossier City and Shreveport.

Suspect is believed to be driving an older red Dodge pickup with the broken back glass taped. An arrest warrant has been issued for felony theft.

Smith is described as a 5'10" white male weighing approximately 195 pounds.
