GRAND SALINE (KYTX) - Grand Saline parents pleading for the safe return of their missing daughter.
17-year-old Charity LaJean Pulley was last seen Tuesday, September 18th.
"We just love her and want her to come home," said Jean Pulley.
Jean Pulley said she has cried everyday since her daughter went missing more than a week ago. She and her husband, Garvin, a church pastor, have prayed for her to come back home.
"She's just a normal teenage girl that loves shoes and loves to dress up. She just loves shoes and purses," said Jean.
The Pulleys said the Tuesday night Charity went missing, everything was normal. She ate dinner, did her homework, and went to bed.
"She was happy go lucky," said Garvin Pulley.
The next morning, something wasn't right when Garvin went to get charity and her two brothers ready for school.
"I knocked on the door and called her name and she didn't answer," said Garvin.
Garvin walked into her bedroom and noticed she wasn't there. Her cell phone and ID still in the bedroom.
Her parents believe she climbed out of her bedroom window.
"She's told other people that she wasn't going to live at home always. That she was going to leave. That we were too strict," said Jean.
"She text a lot of guys and may have talked with them and may have possibly made dates," said Garvin.
Police said Charity's internet usage shows she may have been speaking to various people on different dating websites.
We found this picture of Charity on myspace where she went by the name "Char-bear."
"We took her phone away because she was staying on phone all night and talking to men all over the United States," said Jean.
The Pulleys believe she could be with one of those men. They're concerned she could be with a person who may not have her best interest in mind.
"I love her and I want her to come home. I miss her. We all miss her. Our church miss her. Her school friends miss her. It's just not the same without her here," cried Jean.
Police said Charity is considered an adult. Investigators said a phone call, email, video or letter indicating she is safe is all they need. If you have any information, you're asked to call police.
