(KYTX) - Imagine the band playing, fans cheering and a whole town making your homecoming special, even though you're not the queen.
Mississippi 16-year-old Whitney Kropp thought about killing herself after a prank pulled by her peers, but the entire community rallied behind her.
Businesses donated her dress and gave her a makeover.
The opposing team even cheered her on.
"Kids that are bullying, you can not let them bring you down. Stand up for what you believe in, go with your heart and go with your gut," says Kropp.
Kropp doesn't know who pulled the cruel joke, but encourages other bullied teens to stand up for themselves.
