Robert E. Lee won its first football game in over a year in Week 3 of the high school football season. The Red Raiders defeated Texas High at Rose Stadium in Tyler. It was new head coach Darrell Piske's first W with his team.

This marks the program's first victory in ten games. Junior quarterback Raleigh Poster finished with 123 yards passing in Lee's 23-7 win. Players and coaches say they really needed this W for a boost of confidence and to start changing the losing culture in the locker room.

Coach Piske says his team needs to get better in the third quarter to succeed.
