Entertainment News: Aldean's apology

Posted: Updated:

(CNN) - Jason Aldean is apologizing to his fans. Photos surfaced over the weekend that show the married country star in a compromising situation with a former "American Idol" star. He says he had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. Aldean is asking for time to work through the situation with his family. But he did get some good news Monday. His single "Take a Little Ride" hit number one on the Billboard Radio Chart.

(CNN) - Adele has been given a "license to thrill". The singer is lending her voice to the theme song of the latest James Bond installment "Skyfall." The song shares the same name as the 007 film and will debut on the singer's website on Friday. "Skyfall" hits theaters next month.

(CNN) - Seth MacFarlane will host the 85th Academy Awards. This will be his first time as host of the prestigious ceremony - an opportunity he calls an "overwhelming privilege." MacFarlane may not be a household name but he's well-known in the entertainment industry. He's the creative force behind "Family Guy" and co-wrote and produced the film "Ted." The Academy Awards air in February.
