(CNN) - Honda is recalling more than half a million of its popular Accord cars because of a potential fire risk.  The recall involves the accord V6 from model years 2003-2007.

Honda says the power steering hoses in these cars could leak and cause a fire in the engine.    So far, no crashes or injuries have been reported.  Honda dealers will fix the problem for free. But, replacement parts for the Accord won't be available until early next year.

The feds have filed additional charges against five former employees of Bernie Madoff.  The workers are accused of concealing fraud by manipulating the firm's account ledgers, stock records and tax returns.  The five employees were previously indicted on other charges, they now face a total of 33 counts on charges ranging from bank to tax offenses.

This, after prosecutors determined the ponzi scheme dated back to the 1970s, much earlier than previously thought.  The new charges come after Madoff's brother, who worked at the firm, was recently sentenced to 10 years for participating in the fraud.

Spirit Airlines customers will soon need to plan ahead to save money.  Starting November 6th, the carrier will charge a 100-dollar fee if passengers need to check their carry-on baggage at the gate.  The airline says the fee is intentionally high to discourage fliers to wait until the last minute.

Spirit charges for all bags that do not fit underneath a seat.  Spirit says fliers checking bags in advance can pay as little $20 a bag.
