Rusk Co. Sheriffs search for thieves of items missing from warehouse

RUSK COUNTY (KYTX) - The Rusk County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division is reaching out to citizens for information in reference to a Burglary of a Building that occurred at Jam's One Stop Store, located on Hwy 79 South.

On the morning of October 2, 1012, the store owner discovered damage to the back of the building where unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the warehouse area of the store. The owner noticed that two Stihl weed eaters were missing from the warehouse.

The suspect(s) damaged several different areas to the back of the store before gaining entry to the business. The damage of the building was estimated at approximately $1,000. The weed eaters were valued at approximately $300 each.

Anyone with information related to this crime are encouraged to call Rusk County Crime Stoppers at 903-655-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s).
