Police on scene of stabbing in Tyler

(KYTX) - On Saturday, October 13, 2012 Tyler Police Officers responded to a stabbing at 6122 Plantation Tyler, Texas.  At approximately 2:20 PM Tyler PD received a call about a disturbance/fight.  While officers were en route to the scene a second call reported that someone had been stabbed at the residence. 

On arrival officers found that an individual had been stabbed.  The injured person was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where he was taken immediately to surgery for treatment of his injuries.  Information on the injured person's condition is not immediately available. 

All parties involved have been interviewed by detectives.  Tyler PD detectives are continuing the investigation.


TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler Police have confirmed a stabbing has occurred in south Tyler.

Tyler Police tell CBS 19 they are currently on the scene of an aggravated assault at the intersection of Hollytree Drive and West Grande Blvd.

Police are not releasing much information at this time, but Sgt. Paul Robeson says they will be releasing more information in the form of a press release soon.
