JACKSONVILLE (KYTX) - Fire crews are battling a fire at the Western Pulp Products company on 1511 Bolton street in Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Daily Progress.

Fire Chief Paul White confirmed that the fire department responded to the blaze around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

A Jacksonville Daily Progress reporter at the scene says areas of the plant had to be evacuated.

Western Pulp Products manufactures molded fiber products such as packing materials.
