Drug identified in alleged attack on woman by police officer

BOWIE COUNTY (KYTX) - The ongoing investigation into the attack on Misty Gail Horn by her husband David Horn has revealed that the drug use to inject Ms Horn with is used to euthanize animals, not an animal tranquilizer as previously believed.  Due to this information it was determined to raise the charge against David Horn from Aggravated Assault Serious Bodily Injury a second degree felony, to Aggravated Assault Serious Bodily injury with a Deadly Weapon to a family member which is a first degree felony. 

The charge of Aggravated Assault with serious bodily injury has been dropped, and warrant was obtained on the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  David Horn has been arrested on the new charge. 

Judge Nancy Talley read David Horn the Magistrates warning today October 18, 2012and set bond at $1,000,000.00.
