NEW LONDON/RUSK COUNTY (KYTX) - Eight billion dollars. That's the impact a new refinery is expected to have on Rusk County over the next decade -- bringing new jobs and financial growth.

A Longview refinery expects to begin construction on a new plant in Rusk County by the first of 2013.

Gregg County Refinery LLC Is building the refinery on 165 acres along Texas 135 near New London. As many as 400 construction jobs and more than 100 technical jobs are planned with the move.
