JORDAN (CBS) - Jordanian authorities say they have foiled a terror plot aimed at western diplomatic missions and shopping malls in Jordan.

A government spokesman says all of the suspects are from Jordan. They reportedly smuggled in weapons from Syria to use them in the plot. The spokesman also says the men were assisted by Al Qaeda operatives based in Iraq.
