Former Trinity Valley Coaches Fired at Ole Miss - KYTX CBS 19 Tyler Longview News Weather Sports

Last year Kenya and Michael Landers lead Trinity Valley to the NJCAA Women's National Championship. They then left for jobs at Ole Miss. This past weekend they were fired. The university and the NCAA are conducting a dual investigation. Two players, Kay Caples and Brandy Broome, are ineligible to compete after failing to meet NCAA transfer eligibility standards. Both are junior college transfers; Caples came from Trinity Valley Community College in Texas, where she was coached by the Landerses (who are husband and wife and led the school to a national title last season).
