LONGVIEW/GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - They are separated in age by more than 70 years, but a small group of area college students and seniors are building relationships here in East Texas.

Over the past three weeks, occupational therapy students from Panola College in Carthage have traveled to longview each week to meet with senior residents at Buckner Westminster Place.

The idea is for students to develop relationships and conversation with a generation they will one day serve in the work force.
