Entertainment News: Madonna gets booed

Posted: Updated:

(CNN) - The Material Girl's political views aren't exactly drawing applause. In fact, Madonna was booed during her concert in New Orleans, after telling the crowd quote "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for President Obama." But according to several reports, the singer quickly tweaked her tune, explaining she didn't care "Who you vote for...go vote."

(CBS) - Tickets go on sale today for a benefit concert celebrating the music of Carole King. The night is billed as "You've Got A Friend" and the proceeds will go to a camp for children with serious illnesses. The late actor Paul Newman created the camp. The concert will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on December 4th. Carole King will perform alongside a powerhouse of performers including Katy Perry, John Legend and Alicia Keys.

(CNN) - The third weekend seems to be the charm for "Argo." Ben Affleck's political thriller finally took the top spot at the box office after two weeks at number 2. "Argo" took in nearly $12.4 million dollars this weekend alone. But with Halloween creeping up, Dracula and the world's most famous monsters are proving their staying power. The animated film "Hotel Transylvania" climbed to the number 2 spot, raking in $9.5 million dollars. The big budget, star-studded epic "Cloud Atlas" debuted at number three.
