TYLER (KYTX) -- Tyler Police say police in West Monroe, Louisiana caught James Calvert late Wednesday night and they found 4 year old Lucas Calvert unharmed. James Calvert is accused of shooting killing his ex-wife at her Tyler home Wednesday and then abducting Lucas.

West Monroe police spotted the silver Buick LeSabre Calvert was reportedly driving and after they tried to pull over Calvert they say he led them on a chase.  Police say the chase ended when Calvert crashed on a dead end street.  We're told Calvert wouldn't get out of the car so police had to break the window to get him out.  Investigators say there was a gun in the front seat and another in the back seat.  Lucas was in a child safety seat in the back seat and did not get hurt.  Tyler Police say the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services has custody of Lucas and James Calvert is in the custody of West Monroe Police.  Both will be brought back to Tyler.

Tyler Police Department secured an arrest warrant for Capital Murder Wednesday evening with bond set at $2,000,000.00.

The victim in the shooting was 30-year-old Jelena Radobanovic Sriraman.  Tyler Police say around 12:10 p.m. Wednesday they got a call about a shooting in the 3300 block of Bain Place.  They found Sriraman shot and killed and little Lucas Calvert gone.  Suspecting James Calvert abducted his son authorities issued an Amber Alert.

Pastor Larry Craig of Southern Oaks Baptist Church tells CBS 19 that the church was helping Sriraman by allowing her to live in the home owned by the church.  According to Pastor Craig, she was trying to get her life back together following a divorce from the suspect.  The couple recently went through a child custody hearing with James Calvert.  The victim was remarried and in the process of moving to Houston where her new husband live and work.
